Fring SIP Setup on Your Cell Phone
Note: Photos examples used for fring setup may vary slightly, but setup should be similar for any Fring compatible phone.
1) Download and install Fring on your cell phone (ensure you download the version for your phone).
2) Once installed run Fring and register for a Fring account.
3) When prompted for Services Selection, select "SIP"

4) When prompted to Select Service's Name, choose "Other"

5) When prompted for Fring SIP Service Setup enter the following:
a) User ID: Your "device login number" that we sent you with your device or by email when you signed up
b) Password: The password you use to enter your user account
c) SIP Proxy: server1.campuscom.ca

6) Once you have completed entered the Fring SIP settings on your cell phone, you are ready to make calls. To make a call you first must add Fring buddies (contacts) in the application. Once you have added buddies (and their telephone numbers) you can select Options>Call>SIP Call to call that contact.
Note: The quality of Fring SIP calls depends on the Wifi/GSM network you are connected to. Charges may apply for accessing data through your primary cell phone service provider. The best and cheapest way to make a Fring call is to log your cell phone on to your campus' (cafe, home etc) Wifi network then open Fring and make the call. Better quality calls can be made with Nokia SIP "e" or "n" series compatible phones or Android phones with Sipdroid (listed on support page).
