To let your phone system know that you are done entering digits to dial press the # button. This will tell the system to call straight away. This helps especially when dialing long distance destinations with lots of digits.
The Call back feature is used to overcome long distance charges. Set your telephone number (or an additional CampusCom phone number) to call you back when you call it. It will then present you with a dial tone so you can make a long distance call via your CampusCom account. We'll charge you our low long distance rates and you'll only get charged for a local call from your cell phone etc.
Need someone to take calls and manage them for you? Perhaps for a small business? Try the CampusCom receptionist. When someone calls your line, they'll hear a recording giving them instructions and allowing them to press digits to redirect the call to your cell, your cottage, your work number etc. Dial 1099 from your CampusCom phone to record your receptionist message and sign up for the service!
Another great small business feature. When callers call in, they're placed in a queue to wait for you to answer. Once the line is free, the call is passed on in the order it was received. In the meantime, they can listen to messages you've recorded and background music.
Have calls ring in multiple locations. When a call is picked up in one location it will stop ringing everywhere. Great if you're always on the go and never want to miss a call.
