Use CampusCom telephone service over the Internet using any Android phone with Sipdroid.
With Sipdroid you can make free phone calls to other CampusCom clients or phone calls to anyone else in the world from your cell phone.
All the while, you enjoy CampusCom's low long distance rates! Of course you'll still have to pay for your data usage.
Sipdroid on your android phone works wherever you have access to the internet via a Wi-Fi or 3G / 4G connection.

1) Install Sipdroid on your Android cell, open the application and go to SIP Account Settings.

2) Enter your CampusCom home phone account information:

Authorization User Name: 103567_xxxxx (Enter your account number. If you're not sure what it is, please contact tech support)
Password: Enter the password you use to log in to your CampusCom home telephone account.
Server : server1.campuscom.ca
Then save the settings (leaving other fields blank) and go to "Audio Codecs" setup.

Enter the Audio Codec settings as Follows:

Once Sipdroid has registered with CampusCom on your android cell you can start to make calls.
In the settings section you can specify your preferred phone call type. This is used when clicking a "Call" tab of a contact. It should be a menu that looks similar to that below:
